A profile of band

Katie Melua was discovered by the composer Mike Batt in 2003 while she studied in the BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology. Katie Melua’s first album was “Call of the search” and was released by “Dramatico”. Her second album was recorded in 2005 and was called “Piece by piece”. It has sold more than one million copies.

Katie Melua plays both jazz and blues. Some of their best-known songs are “Nine million bicycles”, “The closest thing to crazy” and “Thank you stars”. She has won one prize for her music and videos. When she had fifteen years she won a competition in a TV channel ITV.
